About Us

Rocking Spring Valley Ranch is a family owned operation. The partnership consists of George & Kathy Hawn, the parents, and Andrea Kirkwood, the daughter. We enjoy having horses & cattle and share our passion with the ones we love. Both horses and cattle have been in our lives for a long time, but we have only bred Foundation Quarter Horses & Belted Galloway Cattle for about 10 years. We have created this website as part of our business and to share our passion with others.

Our family has many talented individuals that provide many services to the community. We all contribute something to our family and business. George performs constructional & mechanical needs for the farm, plus has lots of big ideas & more. Kathy manages financial needs for the farm. Andrea (also known as Andi) trains horses, calculates pedigree percentages, & creates advertisements. We make group decisions when it comes to our mating program, health issues, buying & selling horses, and more.
